Easter

Well my Victorian relatives (and the one that is studying in Adelaide) came up for Easter.
My Adelaidian cousin came up by plane and on Thursday, and stayed at our place Thursday night cause we live close to the airport. Her plane was meant to be arriving at 8:40 on Thursday, so she was up at 4:30 but there was a hydraulic leak or something on the engine so the plane was cancelled. She didn't end up arriving till 12 in sydney.
My brother met her at the airport and they were catching the bus back but my brother forgot to check which direction the bus was going in so they went the wrong way and didn't arrive at home till 2.

All my mother's side of the family got together on Friday evening at my mother's sister's place. It was really good for everyone to be together especially when everyone is spread so far and wide.

On Sunday afternoon we went and visited my father's mother. that was a nice time too.

We also had some good church services, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday with the Easter Feaster. I think that everyone who came enjoyed the time. Lot's of yummy food and celebrative time for the service.

Things that go Bump (or Rrrrrrrrrrring) in the night

Well recently I have had some night time adventures.

Firstly a couple of weeks ago on Monday night/Tuesday morning I fell out of bed, at 1 am. Now this happened because my bed is one of those beds with a base made out of a mattress with legs with another mattress on top. Now the top mattress was hanging over the edge of the bottom one and rolled over to that side of the bed and tipped it. The mattress landed on it's side on the floor and I landed next to it. In fixing up my bed i bumped the light switch which is behind my bed and turned on the light thus waking me up fully, and so I noticed the time. I did get back to sleep pretty quickly though.

My latest adventure in the dark happened last Monday morning. The fire alarm went off at 6 am and so the whole college went out to the car park in the cold, foggy morning in their pyjamas. The high light of this or deal was that the children were excited to see the fire engine. The low light of the ordeal was that the trigger came from v block which is the single female block and so we all had to stay out after all the others could go back inside. I gues that something that we can praise God for is that there was not actually any fire.

I was on The Bill (Ha ha)

Well I wasn't really on The Bill, it just felt like I was. So what happened? I hear you ask, well I will tell you.
At around 4pm on Friday my dad rang the house to see if everything was ok because he had recieved a message from my sisters mobile asking him to call, we discovered that her phone was missing. While I was talking to my father on the landline I also recieved a message from her phone. I rang the phone and the other person (who was a kid) wanted to sell the phone that they had stolen back to us for $30. So I rang my dad again and told him, He told me to call the cops.
The police came round and got information from me and my sister. They then got me to arrange a meeting with the person. I arranged the meeting to be at Tempe Station and got the cops to go there too. I met the person who had the phone and got it back and was then told to go and wait in the car, while the cops dealt with the person (who turned out to be a girl and I had thought was a boy0. While I was waiting in the car, I heard over the radio that she had a knife on her and so they needed a female police officer to come down to do a more thorough search because all the cops down there were male. A boy also came up while the police where with the girl so I think he was also involved. Well I was glad when it was all over because as much as it reminded me of The Bill all the waiting around was a bit boring.

As to getting musical let it be known that on the 30 October I am up to song 131.
