Sometimes I'm a liar,
Sometimes I'm a fake.
Sometimes I'm a hypocrite
Everybody hates.
Sometimes I'm a poet,
Sometimes I'm a preacher
Sometimes I watch life go by
sittin' on the bleachers.
But I've never been left alone
in any problem that I've known
Even though I'm to blame
There were times when things were dark
and I've been known to miss the mark
But someone fixed my aim
Sometimes I'm a man of God
Sometimes I'm alright
Sometimes I lay down,
close my eyes and pray to God
Sometimes I don't feel good
It's hard to start the day
It's hard to climb the obstacles
that sometimes come my way
If I make it, I'm a good man,
Am I a bad man if I fail?
I know I'm never good enough
so I let grace prevail
I'm ready for the night
Right now I'm alright
Right now I'm alright
Sometimes I'm alright
I'm alright
I'm alright
Thank God
Thank God
Sometimes I'm a man of God
Sometimes I'm alright
Sometimes I lay down,
close my eyes and pray to God
Sometimes I'm a man of God
Sometimes I'm alright
Sometimes I lay down,
close my eyes and pray to God
I'm ready for the night.
This is a song from another of my favourite bands, the soon to be gone Audio Adrenaline. This speaks to me because It reminds me that no matter what is happening in my life God is still there with me and he'll help me. He's there to help us be more like him. We need to remember him and 'lay down, close [our] eyes and pray to God' so that he can help us and further develop our relationship with him.
God bless you.

The End of Getting Musical
Well you might have guessed from the title that I have finally finished listening to the music on my computer right through.
So let it be known that I finished listening to all the music on 25 November 2006. I don't know how many songs there were because I gave up counting.
It was an interesting experiment and it only took me 1 month and 6 days not bad, hey?

Down in Flames
Christians-- we're all afraid of fire.
We prefer to suck on pacifiers.
Baby pacifists, we're throwing fits.
We don't shake hands, we shake our fists.
We're cannibals.
We watch our brothers fall.
We eat our own, the bones and all.
Finally fell asleep on the plane
to wake to see we're going down in flames.
We're going down, down, down in flames.
We're gonna drown, drown, drown insane.
We see the problem and the risk,
but nothing's solved.
We just say, "Tisk, tisk, tisk,"
and, "Shame, shame, shame."
Finally fell asleep on the plane
to wake to see we're going down in flames.
Let's go!
Christians-- we mourn, the thorn is stuck
in the side of the body watch it self-destruct.
The enemy is much ignored
when we fight this Christian civil war.
We're cannibals.
We watch our brothers fall.
We eat our own, the bones and all.
Finally fell asleep on the plane
to wake to see we're going down in flames.
We're going down, down, down in flames.
We're gonna drown, drown, drown insane.
We see the problem and the risk,

Na na na na, na na na na.
Na na na na, na na na na.
Na na na na, na na na na.
Na na na na, na na na na.
Na na na na, na na na na.
Na na na na, na na na na.
Na na na na, na na na na.
Bana na na na, na na na
Let me pause to clarify
('cause I'm sure you're asking, "Why?").
I stand before you and proudly claim
to belong to what this song complains.
I'm part of the problem,
I confess,
But I gotta get this off my chest.
Let's extinguish the anguish
for which we're to blame,
and save the world
from going down in flames.

This is a song by one of my favourite bands and I think that what it says is true. Among us Christians we fight so much among ourselves about the things that we don't agree on which are usually the things that are not so important when we should just remember the important things that we do agree on, like that God sent Jesus to save us from our sins so that we can be friends with him again. I guess all our fighting might have a tendency to put others off becoming Christians. We need to 'extinguish the anguish for which we're to blame' and consentrate on the important things so that we 'save the world from going down in flames.

More Not Happy, Jan
Why am i not happy? Well we have another prac coming up but it happens to be in the last two teaching weeks of the semester. What happens if we get sick and can't make it one day, or more than one day? This is very annoying!! At least the place that I am going for my prac is nice and close to my house, only ten mnutes walk away.
As for getting musical let it be noted that on the 7 November I am up to song 280.
